Meeting in Richard’s shop to discuss concepts.
Robotic Labyrinth Components:
A question came up about how much time I could spend working on this project asking “you’re not working right now are you”? I don’t have any trouble finding work as long as I don’t expect to get paid. I’ve been underemployed for so long that I’m not included in the unemployment figures. If you need help with any projects or small gigs, look up my information on the About SomeoneKnows page. I could use some billable work.
Game Platform Concept
We are working on a design for a composite structure made using easily obtainable parts. We’re looking at an aluminum skin wrapped around extruded styrene foam. This is the foam sold in 4’x8′ sheets at stores like Home Depot and come in various thicknesses from 1/2″ up to 2″.
The game platform dimensions were chosen because we can get the aluminum in 4′ x10′ sheets. Making three panels to give us the 10′ x 12′ total platform size. One of the details we’re looking into is how to connect the three panels. This detail was considered to form the connections between pieces.
